Good news everyone!

After some hilarious 1% wipe streak last week we pulled ourselves together and cleared some more minions of the Lichking.
First Victim was Professor Putricide who wasnt quite prepared when we caught him

Afterwards we marched towards the Blood-Queen Lana'thel which made us bite each other but we still been pretty alive in the end

(click for full size) That makes 3/4 Wings cleared and the end in sight, good job everyone!

Legendary,Prisonbreak and RL Dorfs

Many Years after infiltrating Troja with his Multi-passenger mount, Dillon now officially is a legendary leader!

Big grats to him and a nice finish to an eventful week.
According to rumors one of our oldest existing members was involved into hijacking connections of Dillon's competitors for the mace and ended up in jail..what a tragedy but dont worry - Gatekeepers are already working on solutions.

As most of us know the new wing in Icecrown opens up this week..but in the meantime i can just advidse everyone to go outside and look for attractive girls like this one

Lets call her Dwarve female on Gnome mount... or Cypina

Dear Realmforum Troll!
Thanks for your post, it had most enjoyable consequences

Yeah Gatekeepers has some strong women and because of their motivation skills we also got some Icecrown Citadel meta achievments this week

Sadly we didnt manage the ship one aswell due to some interpretation issues with the achievment but we bought our raidleader some glasses and we will get that achievment next week.
Oh and yeah Dillon is back and still captain on this ship and he is kind of busy getting engaged with Jaina, lets hope we all get invited for the wedding.

After 1 year of WotLK Blizzard finally released Icecrown Citadel so we can finally fight Arthas!...oh wait
Atleast we can do many new and old heroics with that leet cross server LFG system...oh wait

Yeah it is quite annoying - we feel abit like this guy when he came back home.

Else there is not much happening in Gatekeepers at the moment.
->Dillon is still hunting for his legendary mace (eventually he gets it before Cataclysm).
->Many new skilled players filled our ranks *Wave Hordies/Wave Comebackers*
->Raiding old content with alts / Waiting for more of Icecrown to be opened

So thats a little heads up on what is happening inside Gatekeepers at the moment.
last but not least i would like to post a picture of a real life rogue, trying his stealth.

The Empire strikes back

In the name of every member i would first of all like to appologise to everybody that hoped Gatekeepers would die.
I'm going to update the page from now on whenever something happens ingame or whenever iam just bored - starting from now on.

Just in time for Icecrown Citadel we finally killed Anub'arak heroic this week and got rewarded with some useless purple items.(Screenshot incomming)
A couple of hours later Icecrown Citadel was opened and after the first wave of lag issues we basically oneshot all of the 4 bosses.

Thanks to everybody involved in the kills and those that didnt make it into the raid or were not online for the kill.
Next wing will open January 6th 2010 and we are prepared for more kills because Gatekeepers are back in buisness!.

GK kicking ass, and taking names!

1st I'd like to welcome the new guys from Plan B (Horde).
There has been a lot of change within GK over the last 2 months, a LOT of people have left the game due to Blizzards poor planning over instances ("here you go guys.. an instance you can do 4 times a week, won that be fun??") but Kudos to the guys that stayed, shit got done, and new bosses down.

And lastly This maybe the last news I write, as I am out of wow too. I went to play Aion for a bit, and even that is about as interesting as doing Ulduar easy mode 7 nights a week. I shall be showing the other slackers how to sort this news out soon, so expect some news from other officers soon. For now Im playing this new game called "Real Life" seems quite cool, bit like Eve where there are no "levels" but you can train cool skills and have fun.

Looking for some talent

We are opening our recruitment for a number of classes/speccs, we are currently looking to get:

- A new tank, preferably a non-warrior with a maintank mentaility
- Some more ranged, class/specc doesnt really matter as long as you can show us good performance.
- One or Two more healers to complement our healingteam, preferably non-druid healers.

As usual, you dont have to be Jesus, but we expect high attendance and good performance, so if you're his brother, or cousin that'd be cool.
